iPood all over

Things Sticky learned last night after being shown into her cage:

- My litter pan is a great place to hang out in and maybe nap in

- My igloo against the wall makes a great cubby hole to nap in... still have not yet realized what my igloo is/is for

- My exercise wheel makes for a great nap area

- Under my exercise wheel makes for a great nap area

But last night at around 1:00am, Sticky finally began to explore her cage. She walked around without just scampering to another area in order plop down for another long nap. Things Sticky learned after actually exploring her surroundings:

- Whoa, food has been in my cage for 7 hours now

- Whoa, there is poo... in my litter pan that my owner put in to potty train me... let me ignore this poo and clomp around everywhere until the poo is pulverized anyway

- WHOA, my exercise wheel actually turns - it's not just for sleeping in! (this was actually hilarious - took around 10 minutes to figure out what the exercise wheel is and does but when she got the hang of it...)

...this is what I woke up to in the morning:

The dark side of hedgehog ownership.

Needless to say, this morning I had to scrub the wheel clean, as I believe I will have to do every day from now on... thankfully years of horseback riding have numbed me against messy poopers.

And here's our first bath time (she was not the biggest fan):

*** Also, the redish marking on her back is just the dye the breeders used to ID each baby hedgehog - most of the dye I have rubbed off with the toothbrush
Lil' Nasty is finally clean again
